This wine exhibits vibrant, aromas of cassis, dark plummy fruits and mocha, entwined with hints of sweet, toasty oak. The full bodied palate is packed with juicy blackcurrants, ripe briary fruits and chocolate characters. This is a generous wine with ripe, approachable tannins, and a warm, lingering finish. Whilst drinking well in its youth, the 2005 Dragon Cabernet Merlot will gain further complexity with bottle maturation, and will certainly reward with medium term cellaring.
