The fruit comes from the Karridale vineyard, and from vineyards we manage at Osmington and Witchcliffe, north and south respectively of Margaret River township. We age the wine in mainly French hogsheads and barriques, and blend in a little Malbec and Merlot, to add middle palate. It is our aim to produce a Bordeaux style which ranks with the best in Margaret River.
Deep purple colour. Intense cassis and cigar box bouquet. Rich, opulent, ripe fruit on palate and a full, smooth finish.
Wines which can be confidently cellared for ten years, but which is elegant and stlish, and a good drink in its youth.
