Tasting Notes:
The grapes for this unique wine come 30 year old grapes grown on the Yarraman Estate. Yeilds were deliberately kept low and the fruit hand picked to ensure peak quality.
Fermentationwas carried out in small open vat fermenters, Where grapes were plunged by hand. The result is an exceptional, Deep purple coloured wine exhibiting black cherry and ripe plum aromas. The palate is intense, With an abundance of stewed fruits and traces of smokey prosciutto.
The Chambourcin is a delightfully easy drinking wine which will complement most foods, Or can be savoured on its own. Enjoy excellent drinking now and for the next 5 years.
