"Sneak this into the office Chrissie shindig and there'll be trouble. Everyone will think that the company's had a stellar year and start expecting bonuses. This is one classy sparkler with raspberries and strawberries abounding. Yes it is a tiny bit pink; but anyone who disrespects pink fizz because of the colour doesn't deserve to drink a bottle of joy like this. Shows just how good the fruit coming out of Tassie is for sparklers." Ken Gargett, 'Don't buy wine without me 2008', October 2007
Premium Rosé is based upon Jansz wines of several vintages. Tasmania's
Heemskerk Vineyards was joined by Louis Roederer in the pursuit of
definitive Australian sparklers. An assemblage of individually crafted
wines from the best Tasmanian vineyards. Every site used to source
grapes was planted with the specific aim to produce grapes exclusively
for sparkling wine. All batches are kept separate throughout the
winemaking process to maximise blending options and enhance the
complexity of the final Cuvée. The wine goes through secondary
fermentation in bottle and is aged on yeast lees, the average age of the
final blend being eighteen months to two years. Approx 12.5%
