The winemaker’s focus was to preserve fruit characters at the tropical end of the spectrum when making this lightly oaked chardonnay. Produced using gentle and meticulous winemaking techniques, a small portion of barrel-fermented chardonnay adds structure and ageing potential to the blend. The aroma shows melon characters with hints of pineapple. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied, fruit-driven and exhibits a delicious creamy mouthfeel.
